Chapter 1
Man Who Is Created By God
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. He created the sun, the moon and the stars.
He created all kinds of plants and animals and birds.
At the end God created man.
Our first parents are Adam and Eve
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27)
God created my parents. He created my brothers, sisters and friends. God created me.
God created all of us.
God created us in His own image. What is the image of God? The image of God is Love.
Let us sing
If I were a butterfly,
I'd thank you Lord for making my wings;
If I were a robin on a tree,
I'd thank you Lord that I could sing;
And if I were a fish in the sea,
I'd wriggle my tail and giggle with glee;
But I just thank you Father, for making me, me.
For you gave me a heart,
You gave me a smile,
You gave me Jesus,
And you made me your child,
And I just thank you, Father,
For making me, me.
