Chapter 11
Jesus, The Son Of God
Jesus is the Son of God. The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit.
When Jesus received baptism, Holy Spirit descended on Him in
the form of a dove. God the Father spoke about Jesus
“ This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased’’
(Matthew 3:17).
Let us sing
When the Lord Jesus was baptized,
In the clear running waters of Jordan,
The heavens were opened,
God's Spirit came down,
And He was filled with grace.
When we as children are baptized,
In the name of the living God,
The Spirit of God comes,
And fills us with grace,
To make us children of God.
Write the following sentence repeatedly in different sizes and colours.
Jesus, the Beloved Son of God
In baptism, we too become the children of God.
We were baptized in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
God the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy spirit,
always protect us
Let us make the sign of the cross.
In the name of the
Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit.

O Lord, we thank you for making us your children through baptism.

O Holy Spirit of truth and grace,
